Letter from Lead Teachers - August 2022
Dear Families,
Welcome to the start of the 2022 – 2023 school year!
On Thursday, September 1st, from 2:30-3:30 PM there will be a Watermelon Welcome at Reiche Community School. This is an opportunity to meet your teacher and enjoy watermelon on the soccer field. At this time, masking is optional.
We are so excited to share the school renovations with you once school starts! You will notice that the Brackett Street entrance is blocked by a construction fence. Please continue to use the Clark Street entrance for this school year.
The first day of school for Grades 1-5 is Tuesday, September 6th. Kindergarten first day will be Thursday, September 8th.
The playground will be open and supervised at 8:30 AM. Students will enter school at the Clark Street doors at 8:45 AM. Breakfast will be served from 8:45 - 9:00 in the classrooms. Students arriving after 9 AM are marked tardy.
Dismissal is at 3:30 PM MTTF. Early Release at 2:30PM Every Wed. Beginning Wed. 9-7-22. Walkers dismissed to the playground. Bus students are dismissed to the buses. Rec. students are dismissed to Rec. Learning Works students are dismissed to Learning Works.
