Reiche "Book Nook" on Tuesday, January 15th Was Big Success!
The Reiche Parent and Teachers Organization invites you, Reiche parents and members of the West End community to future meetings of the Book Nook, a book exchange located toward the back of the Reiche ampitheater on the Brackett Street side. The room is filled with great books for children and adults and designed to increase book ownership throughout our communities.
The Book Nook will be made continually available to teachers and students.
It will also be open the third Tuesday of each month for parents and West Enders to enjoy and discover.
Bring in your old great 'reads' and exchange them for some new/old great 'reads'....or come empty handed and stock up with enough reading material to get you through to the next 'third Tuesday' of the month!

The Book Nook is Now officially Open for use
The Book Nook is now open for teachers and parents to continually use for exchanges and purchases. The room is a work in progress but it is a fresh and inviting space thanks to Teresa Spigel with the help of Michelle Hawkes.The suggested donation price list is on the wall and a lock box for the small amount of change collected each week will be anchored below it in the next day or two.


Need More Books!!!
We are so grateful for our initial inventory. Thank you to everyone who sent in their personal favorites and pried meaningful baby books out of their teenagers' hands. We have a nice selection, but we have the shelf space, the demand, and the energy to bring in more. We're open to picking up quality loads. Please canvas, beg, borrow, harrass and then simply drop off in the Book Nook room.

Books Invading Homes
Michelle is investigating the coordination of an art project that would yield some sort of shelf or basket that children could bring home, complete with their selection from the Book Nook. It is designed to spawn a personal library and begin the invasion!!
